Ok folks..it's July 3, and a Saturday! As I was reading the paper, I found one of the best places to be in a hot summer flash..At a free concert @ Desert Ridge Marketplace! The place to meet is The District stage and AMC Fountain Stage.
The stage is set practically in the middle of this outdoors mall. There are misters galore.
Every Saturday and Sunday, you can hear live music throughout the sultry summers, starting this weekend @ 7-9pm.
Tonight will be a hot one, but while you are listening to the cool vibes of Hello Swindon's Scott Semple on guitar at the District stage and Jon Vick on percussion at the AMC stage, you can be slurping a cool drink from Starbucks. Later you can hear Ratio, an R&B blues/hiphop/funk band from 7-10pm. In between that time, there are several places to partake in dining and libations! Now stop thinking about lying on that couch, and the fan blowing overhead, go and get out!
